Welcome to 7UP

What is 7up all about?

Who, Where, When?

7UP is for kids aged 7 and up (school years 3-6). 7UP happens on Monday evenings (6:30pm-7:45pm) at almachurch (address at the bottom of the page). There is no 7UP during the school holidays and also on the first Monday of the term. 7up is run on a volunteer basis and so no charge is made for the running of the club; however, children may bring up to 20p to spend in the tuck shop.

Community

We passionately believe that as a church we need to be providing a positive influence in the local community in many different ways. We define the community as the local area around the church building and also the friends and neighbours of the people who attend the church. One of the positive influences that we provide as a church is a kids club run by volunteers that has no cost to attend.

Children and young people

7up provides a safe and secure environment for children to have fun and enjoy themselves. This is through games and activities on Monday nights and through organising other events at weekends and during the holidays.

Church

We also believe that as part of our service to the community, we need to teach the children and young people about the life and claims of Jesus Christ and how this still applies today in our lives and in our city. If you have any questions regarding exactly what we do during a Monday night, feel free to contact us (details below).

A typical 7up night:

  • 6:30 Starter activity whilst everyone arrives and gets settled
  • 6:40 Games
  • 7:05 Tuck shop
  • 7:10 Talk
  • 7:30 Closing prayer
  • 7:30 Final activity
  • 7:45 Parents arrive and children leave
