Alpha Course - First talk on 24th January 2012 and then Tuesday nights for 10 weeks

Alpha is for everyone, especially:

  • Those wanting to investigate Christianity
  • New Christians
  • Newcomers to the church

The Alpha Course consists of a series of sessions addressing key issues related to life and the Christian faith.

Each session begins with a meal or refreshments - a chance to get to know others in the group. There is then a short talk, which looks at a different aspect of the Christian faith each week. This is followed by a time of discussion in small groups, where everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion and ask questions.

The emphasis is upon exploration and discovery in a relaxed and informal environment.

Sessions

- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I have faith?
- How and why do we pray?
- How and why do we read the bible?
- How does God guide us?
- Who is the Holy Spirit?
- How does God guide us?
- Telling others?
- Does God heal today?
- What about the Church?

All sessions will start at 7:45pm and finish by 9.45pm.
