Hiring Alma Church

Alma Church is a great and very popular venue with lots of individuals, groups and regular users. We can offer:

• A large carpeted Hall (approx capacity 70 comfortably with our tables, more without) = £25 / hour or £150 / day.
• The carpeted church Sanctuary, with a platform at the front (approx capacity 150) = £30 / hour or £200 / day.
• The smaller Creche, Craft (uncarpeted) and "Middle" rooms (approx capacities respectively 15, 10 & 8) = £12 / hour.
• A large fully equipped Kitchen = free for tea & coffee making only, £50 fee for catering.

Children's Parties:

• £120 for 4 hours (set up to clear out)
• Facilities included: hall, crafts room, middle room, use of kitchen (for tea and coffee making only)
• Max number of children: 35
• Food to be eaten in craft room
• Small tables and chairs available
• Sorry, no children's parties on Sundays

Weddings:

• Hire of church and Alma registrar £150
• Hire of hall/ kitchen for reception charged as above
• No Friday night set up unless after 10pm
• Hall seats 65 people comfortably with our tables

Other things to note:

• To view rooms please call the office and arrange time. Spontaneous viewings difficult due to various bookings.
• No alcohol allowed on the premises.
• Church fully carpeted (apart from a crafts room).
• Limited car park space in church car park (approx. 12 cars).
• Use of garden is permissible for all bookings but only if the ground is reasonably dry.
• 250 chairs in church, 10 large folding tables, 2 large standing tables, smaller folding tables, 6 small children's tables, children's chairs.
• Notice boards, use of projector/PA available (please inquire through the office).
• All groups are required to leave the premises by 10pm, due to close proximity to flats.

If you would like to hire any facility within Alma Church please email or phone the office to enquire about availability. We will ask you to sign our terms and conditions and pay a £25 deposit to secure your booking.
